What Dual Diagnosis Services Does Front Door Health Offer?

Many times—due to trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and other disorders—a patient that requires treatment may not only be struggling with drug or alcohol dependence—they may be struggling with what is known as a “dual diagnosis disorder.”

Dual diagnosis is a common condition for those that are living with a substance use disorder. Often, addiction goes hand-in-hand with mental health conditions. That’s why Front Door Health offers dual diagnosis treatment services that are designed to provide support for both the substance use and mental health disorders a patient is struggling with.

Below is more information about dual diagnosis disorders and how Front Door Health approaches treatment for those in need of support for both mental health and substance use disorders.

Dual Diagnosis Drug Treatment

Prescription and illicit drug addiction affects about one in ten Americans, and we are in the midst of an opioid crisis. Front Door Health provides custom treatment based on your drugs of choice, behavioral health conditions, and environment—all from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Whether you struggle with illegal drugs such as cocaine, heroin, MDMA, meth, marijuana, inhalants, ketamine, PCP (angel dust), or are abusing prescription drugs such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, OxyContin, Percocet, Codeine, Vicodin, Ambien, or Lunesta, we are here to help provide you with the support you need.

Dual Diagnosis Alcohol Treatment

Front Door Health does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. While 12-step programs help many people, they do not work for everyone. FDH provides evidence-based therapy and medication proven to reduce the desire to drink. FDH will introduce you to many different types of support groups and help you choose which one, if any, is best for you. We do not require you to participate in 12-step programs.

Sometimes alcohol addiction is accompanied by mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. FDH treats both in an integrative manner to identify their underlying causes. Oftentimes people drink because they are depressed and then become more depressed after they drink resulting in a vicious cycle, which can be stopped with the right treatment.
